brainstorm...

ok...I need your help here...for a later post I am looking for shows on TV that show the dad in the family as an idiot, useless, you know what I mean!!

 As opposed to shows like The Cosby Show and Leave it to Beaver and Little House on the Prairie...those are shows with an involved Dad who can function on his own...today's shows all seem to have dads who are a joke...I am looking for names of TV shows like that....thanks a bunch!!!

    I don't watch a lot of shows, but here are 2 that I know of for sure:
    1. Modern Family-the one father on there is goofy and childish, although I love the show.
    2. Malcolm in the Middle

    Also,the new show with Tim Allen. I've never seen it, but the previews look like he is dumb.

    Everybody Loves Raymond
    I've also seen a lot of commercials that show the dad is dumb and the kids are smarter. Just saw one 2 days ago where the kid does his dad's powerpoint presentation faster and better than his dad.

    This is not a very current one, but I dont watch a lot of TV at this point... the one that always stood out to me the most was Married with Children. Roseanne was always pretty bad too.

    funny how all shows now are either animated or reality TV, no real sitcoms....
